Rainbet War game

Rainbet has added a brand new original game to its catalog called War. The game pits the bettor directly against the dealer, and when the cards tie, there is only one way to settle it: go to War!

Rainbet Originals are already extremely popular among the bettors, looking to take a break from complex slots. Tower, Plinko, Chicken Cross, and others are a great way to burn streams and still win big. All of these games are awfully simple, which means even new bettors can learn the ropes right away. Now, the crypto-casino platform is adding a brand new game to the list, which is simple, but the concept is quite exciting.

The name War comes from one of the game’s features that gives the bettors an option to go at War against the dealer. Not quite literally, but it’s close enough and this inclusion will make it perfect for casino streamers as an alternative to Rainbet slots.

How does Rainbet Original War work?

War is a simple card reveal game, where the higher card wins. The concept couldn’t be more straightforward, but Rainbet has added some layers as features to make it entertaining.

War uses eight standard decks shuffled together, totaling 416 cards. Each round, one card is dealt to the player and one to the dealer. If your card is higher, you win 1:1. If the dealer’s card is higher, you lose your bet. This is the base game, and is ideal for new bettors. Veterans may find the “war” part of the game more interesting.

That comes when the cards tie. At that point you have two choices: either Surrender or Go To War. If you surrender, you lose half your bet and move on. If you Go To War, your bet doubles and another card is drawn for each side. Win that round and you get paid on the raised portion only, not the original bet. Lose and you lose both.

Typically, Rainbet Originals don’t necessarily need you to do a lot of heavy lifting besides clicking a few buttons, but War requires active participation from the bettor. Whether a tie is worth going to war for is a decision only the player can make. In this feature, there is also a bonus built in, in which landing four ties in a row can get you a 10:1 payout.

The game also has a feature called Tie side bet, where you bet on the cards matching before they are dealt. It pays 10:1 if it hits, but a tie only happens roughly 7.5% of the time, meaning a fair payout would actually be closer to 12:1. That gap is where the house picks up extra edge on that specific bet.

For this game, Rainbet has increased the house edge:

However, the game is provably fair, meaning every result can be independently verified through a third-party verifier. Our Rainbet review covers all areas of the crypto casino so that you can decide if it is worth checking out.
