Webull’s partnership with Kalshi led to the launch of its prediction markets in 2025. Since then, many users have shared positive feedback about their experience. But we’ve gone ahead with our Webull review to see what’s true and what isn’t.
As part of this guide, we’ll walk you through the main market categories and provide examples of event contracts. You’ll also learn about other aspects of the website, including the available bonuses, banking options, and customer support channels. There’s much to unpack in just a few words, so follow us as we examine each section one at a time.

An overview of Webull’s legality: Is Webull legit?
We’ve often come across discussions from various people who still wonder if Webull is a scam. During our checks, we discovered that Webull is 100% legitimate and currently provides services legally in the United States. Its prediction markets are offered through Webull Futures LLC, a company fully regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Just like we also determined from our ROLR review, federal oversight from this organization allows operations in all 50 states. So if you need to know where Webull is allowed in the US, there’s your answer. To open an account on the platform, you must be at least 18 years old. It’s also necessary to have an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) or a Social Security Number (SSN) because you’ll be asked for it.
In terms of security, the platform has incorporated certain features to ensure you’re protected. This includes a mandatory KYC verification procedure, which must be completed before new accounts are approved. High-end encryption protocols are also in use to safeguard your personal data, alongside an advanced two-factor authentication (2FA) option.
How does Webull work? Here’s everything to know
Like other prediction market apps and websites, Webull prediction markets let you trade event contracts on real-world occurrences. More than five market categories are offered, each offering “yes” and “no” shares across various topics. Every contract has prices that range from $0.01 to $0.99 to numerically indicate the probability of an outcome occurring.
For instance, if an event has a 63% chance of happening (yes), it will be priced at $0.63. If your prediction was right, you’ll receive a share of $1 per contract, but get nothing if you’re wrong. Now that we’ve answered how Webull basically works, let’s check out the available prediction market categories.
Major event categories at Webull
Only index and cryptocurrency hourly contracts were offered when Webull Predictions first launched. Today, more categories have been rolled out, and we’ve provided short descriptions of each below:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Sports |
|
| Culture |
|
| Crypto |
|
| Economics |
|
| Climate |
|
🏅 Sports
More than 10 different sports disciplines are covered in this section, including American football, soccer, basketball, and boxing. Esports are also featured, and you’ll find plenty of LoL and CS2 prediction markets.
🎭 Culture
The culture category covers everything from music to movies and general entertainment. We found contracts on award shows, music streams, and even reality TV.
💰 Crypto
Predictions on cryptocurrency prices were among the first products Webull offered after its initial launch. However, only Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Ripple are currently covered.
📈 Economics
In the economics category, you can predict future outcomes on inflation, jobs, Federal Reserve decisions, KPIs, and GDP.
🌍 Climate
Weather occurrences, such as climate change, snow, rainfall, and daily temperatures, are all offered in this section. You can make predictions on these events if you’re interested in monitoring the climate.
Bonuses and promotions at Webull
Newly registered users on the Webull platform don’t get a welcome bonus that’s meant specifically for prediction markets. We experienced the same situation during our Moomoo prediction markets review, so the unavailability of a bonus wasn’t shocking. That said, Webull offers newcomers $20 in fractional shares plus 30 days of Webull Premium, but this is for the general trading platform.
To benefit from this promotion, you’ll have to deposit at least $500. After getting the bonus, you can then carry out general stock trading and use the proceeds in prediction markets. This, of course, will be after meeting all the necessary requirements. Some other promotions you’ll come across that are still focused on general trading include:
- IRA match
- Transfer bonus
- Referral bonus
Webull user experience: Website and app usability
Our Webull review went exceptionally well because of the well-optimized website. Navigation was seamless on both the desktop and mobile versions, and we didn’t experience any difficulties getting around. Like we highlighted in our IBKR prediction markets review, mobile accessibility is important in contract trading.
Webull certainly understands this and has made mobile apps available for Android, iOS, and desktop devices. To download your preferred version, simply scroll to the bottom of the website and click the appropriate link. During our checks, the apps performed well and felt more intuitive than the website.
Deposits and withdrawals: Webull banking
Making payments on Webull is generally straightforward. The supported options are debit cards, ACH transfers, and wire transfers. Now although Webull is free when it comes to deposits, withdrawals are subject to commissions, depending on the method used. With debit cards, the fee is 1.75%, while domestic and international wire transfers are $25 and $45, respectively. The expected processing times for each option are:
- Debit cards: 30 minutes
- Wire transfers: 1-2 days (domestic), up to 5 days (international)
- ACH: 2-3 days
Webull customer service
The two main support channels available to traders at Webull are phone and email. We recommend calling the official telephone line for urgent assistance because email responses can take as much as 12 hours. You can also choose to submit a message request via the app, and a response will be sent to you via email.
Concluding our Webull review: What we think
Webull has done a commendable job integrating prediction markets into its established trading platform. The CFTC-regulated offering, intuitive apps, and growing selection of contracts make it a reliable option for US users. Although we’d like to see dedicated prediction market promotions and live chat support, the platform already feels ideal for trading contracts. You can get started today by clicking our on-page banners to open a new account.
