Pokimane speaks on Mark Tuan collab and dating rumors

Over the years, Imane “Pokimane” Anys has gone from Twitch streamer to lifestyle vlogger while proving to be one of the more consistently popular figures in the livestreaming space, so it’s no surprise that a recent collab with Mark Tuan has led to dating rumors and more.

Pokimane’s love life is one topic she hasn’t been very open to sharing with fans, even as her personal life has become increasingly public over the years. Recently, Pokimane made a TikTok video with musician and artist Mark Tuan. This resulted in a barrage of rumors and speculations about the two being a romatnic item — something that often happens when Pokimane interacts with a male content creator. The noise around this latest collab was loud enough that the streamer felt the need to address it, though her words haven’t exactly quieted the noise.

Pokimane responds to Mark Tuan dating rumors

On November 19, Pokimane did her own twist on the “Ocean Eyes” trend on TikTok by having Mark Tuan suddenly pop up alongside her. The video has over 500,000 views and a bunch of fans asking questions in the comments. One asked “what Mark Tuan is doing here” and Pokimane answered that he was being a “very nice guy.” Another asked more directly if this means the streamer has a new “boyfriend.”

Never far from drama as the prominent streamer she is, Pokimane decided to make another TikTok video in response to another comment: “Is this a soft launch?”

“Let me clear this up once and for all,” Pokimane said. “The only soft launch you will ever see from me is a ring on my finger. Okay? A man in my life is but a man in my life… Until he is my husband.”

She added that she functions a bit like a “government form,” where the only available options to tell the public are “single, married, and divorced.” The meaning here was both clear and pointed: Pokimane is definitely going to continue being secretive about her romantic relationships until they are serious enough to lead to marriage. And that may be a wise direction for the streamer, consider how that she’s seen everything from big break-ups to catfishing in her personal life, all of which is surely easier to process if kept private.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t fully answer the question about Pokimane and Mark Tuan potentially dating. He could be anything from a friend, to a casual fling, to an outright boyfriend. One thing is clear, however: Pokimane doesn’t want fans to keep asking about Mark Tuan or any other man. Not that that will necessarily stop them.

Who is Mark Tuan?

Some fans have cracked up at the idea of Pokimane “soft launching” a relationship with Mark Tuan. While some may not know who he is, Mark Tuan is actually a very famous recording artist.

He first arrived on the music scene in 2014 as part of a Korean boy band, GOT7, and was known for songs like “You Calling My Name” and “Two.” Tuan provided the lyrics and performed the rap verses in those songs. GOT7 recently reached 3.4 million monthly listeners in 2025.

After that, Tuan went solo and released 2022 album “The Other Side.” Pokimane commented on her recent video that fans should listen to Tuan’s new music. This could be the reason behind Mark Tuan doing so many collaborations on TikTok, including his video with Pokimane.
