Sykkuno’s return to streaming after a roughly two-month hiatus prompted criticism from Imane “Pokimane” Anys, sparking another beef between her and Felix “xQc” Lengyel.

Pokimane and xQc have clashed publicly on several occasions, with their latest disagreement centering on Sykkuno. After Pokimane criticized the streamer and voiced support for those affected by the controversy, xQc pushed back, arguing that the situation was being mischaracterized. The situation has even seen Sykkuno go on a temporary break from streaming.

Pokimane comments on Sykkuno’s streaming comeback

Sykkuno made his streaming comeback on June 2, addressing the cheating allegations and informing fans that he and his girlfriend are doing better. While the streamer maintained a positive tone throughout the broadcast, his return to content creation has not been welcomed by everyone. Popular streamer Pokimane was quick to react, stating that she has “spent longer getting over situationships” than Sykkuno spent away from streaming on Twitch.

Pokimane suggested that Sykkuno took a brief break from streaming before returning as though nothing had happened. The creator ended by saying “God bless” and stated that she would not comment further on the situation. Viewers’ reactions to Pokimane’s remarks were divided, with some claiming she was just joking. Others, including top casino streamer xQc, criticized Pokimane.

xQc reacts to Pokimane’s criticism of Sykkuno

In a reaction stream, a format xQc is well known for, the casino streamer criticized Pokimane for judging Sykkuno for returning to streaming after what she viewed as too short a break. xQc stated that the community only has “diluted” information from third-party sources and that nobody knows what Sykkuno or his girlfriend are going through.

The Canadian streamer went on to accuse Pokimane of wanting to cancel Sykkuno and being upset that the backlash to the initial cheating allegations did not produce the outcome she wanted. He said it felt as though Pokimane wanted Sykkuno to take an indefinite break and be unable to earn an income or move on from the controversy. xQc also claimed that Pokimane and other top streamers were criticizing Sykkuno because of his relatively low viewership and opined that they would not be as vocal if a larger creator faced similar cheating allegations.

The exchange marks the latest public disagreement between Pokimane and xQc, with both streamers offering sharply different views on Sykkuno’s return to content creation.
