Adrian “Fata-” Trinks made his professional Dota 2 debut with We haz Asian before bouncing around between a number of other teams. He joined Team Zero before he and his teammates were signed by Mousesports.
Despite signing on with a prestigious organization, mouz struggled mightily with a number of roster changes during the year. This led to poor results in late 2012 and early 2013, but the team settled down and successfully qualified for The International 2013. This led to stronger results during the summer, most notably taking first place at RaidCall EMS One Summer Season. Despite this, the team’s season ended in disappointing fashion with a last-place finish at The International 2013.
Mousesports dropped most of its roster to create an all-Danish lineup, with Fata- hitting the road and playing for a number of different teams. He spent much of the following year juggling two different squads in Team Dog and Sigma.int, but wound up back with mouz after it signed the roster of Team Dog. Fata- and his team once again qualified for The International and went on an upswing leading up to TI, only to stumble at the event as mouz was eliminated during the group stage.
Fata- departed mouz after TI4 and replaced Wehsing "SingSing" Yuen as the mid laner for Cloud9. The squad posted generally strong results throughout the year by placing between second and fourth at a number of live events, but notably never took first place at any big tournaments. Still, consistently strong showings earned C9 a direct invitation to The International 2015, where the team suffered a ninth-place exit.
Following TI5, Fata- joined up with former mousesports teammate Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi on a new squad, 5Jungz. The team won the Alienware Summer's End Cup in its debut and qualified for the Nanyang Dota 2 Championship. This resulted in the squad being given a sponsorship by Team Liquid.
Fata- enjoyed some of the best performances of his career with the organization, reaching the grand finals of the Shanghai Major and Manila Major, as well as winning Epicenter 2016. Unfortunately, Fata-’s career pattern of falling short at The International continued. Liquid earned a direct invitation to TI6 and entered as a favorite to win, only to finish in seventh place.
Following the event, Fata- announced an indefinite break from professional Dota 2. He reemerged in December by revealing a team of his own, B)ears. This new team competed just a few times before the members scattered to other organizations, with Fata- reuniting with former Cloud9 teammates Johan "pieliedie" Åström and Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao at Team NP.
That team qualified for The International 2017, which resulted in Team NP being sponsored by Cloud9. They left the organization and disbanded entirely after flopping at the event.
Fata- once again found his way to a strong team after the event, joining Team Secret as the team’s new off laner. The season started very well for Fata- and Secret, highlighted by the team winning the DreamLeague Season 8 major, Fata-’s first win in a Valve-sanctioned event.
The team’s performance declined as the year went on, but the Dota Pro Circuit saw Secret’s early success still translate to a direct invitation to The International 2018. Secret finished in fifth at the event, a career best for Fata-.
Following the event, Fata- joined former Evil Geniuses captain Peter “ppd” Dager on an unnamed team. That team was quickly scooped up by Ninjas in Pyjamas, which was looking to start over in Dota 2 after two failed attempts to establish itself in the game.
NiP posted mixed results throughout the year, performing ably in smaller events but underwhelming at majors. The team earned a direct invitation to The International 2019, but once there finished in last place.
Fata- announced the formation of another new team after TI9 alongside NiP teammate Neta "33" Shapira , which was sponsored by Alliance. The team posted generally strong results, placing top-four at DreamLeague Season 12, ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore, and the DreamLeague Season 13 major. Considering these solid results, fans were surprised when it was announced that Fata- and 33 had been kicked from the team.
