Coreffect Interactive ditches traditional spinning reels for physics-based chaos in Angry Balls, a new game that feels closer to Angry Birds than a traditional slot, and here’s what players ought to know before the try to play it themselves.

Even with so many options on the market, modern online slots can sometimes feel repetitive, and providers are aware of this. This is why auto-spins exist. Spinning away at the reels for hours can get tiring, but the reward at the end can feel too good to pass up a traditional slot. Developer Coreffect Interactive is mixing things up here by replacing the reels entirely with physics-driven gameplay while still offering a healthy RTP and meaningful win potential.

Angry Balls is a burst game that pays well and is both highly addictive and entertaining to play, representing a great break from the slots norm.

How Angry Balls modernizes the traditional slot formula

Angry Balls is a physics-driven burst game that will remind players of when Angry Birds dominated pop culture. Even with that call to the gaming past, the game still feels fresh, with its addictive slingshot mechanic that can feel even better than spinning traditional slot reels.

RTP96.51%

Game type Burst

The outcome of each round is determined by RNG, but presented through physics-based motion, making the gameplay feel more interactive. Setting up the slingshot feels like you’re in full control, even though the real control lies with your luck. After a few attempts, bettors may start noticing patterns in coin placement, but that’s likely just an illusion since the game is fully RNG. Still, that illusion is what makes Angry Balls such an entertaining game as players cheer on the balls wrecking the right structures to convert a big win.

The game’s goal is simple: collect as many multipliers as possible before the ball’s run ends. Each and every coin or diamond destroyed during the ball flight stacks onto a single round multiplier, which is then applied to your bet. Wins are calculated as the base bet amount times total collected multiplier.

There are no free spins or respins here. The gathered multiplier represents what the entire game has to offer to the player’s winnings, and is displayed at the top of the screen.

Along the way, players can trigger power-ups that dramatically affect outcomes, giving it a more traditional Angry Birds game feel. Split creates multiple balls that all collect multipliers simultaneously, Grow increases ball size to improve hit coverage, and Ghost allows the ball to phase through obstacles. Clearing all coins on the board activates a bonus wheel, adding an extra multiplier at the end of the round.

Angry Balls offers multiple enhanced modes that function like bonus buys. Bomb Mode costs 25× your bet and increases volatility with explosive mechanics, while Max Treasure Mode costs 100× your bet and fills the board with the highest possible coin density. This mode enables the game’s maximum win of 37,168x.

The RTP varies by mode and launch angle, ranging from approximately 96.51% in standard play down to 95.93% in higher-volatility setups. There is no guaranteed winning strategy here, but players looking to reduce the number of swings required to find a win should stick to the game’s standard mode and mid-range angles, while those chasing large multipliers will find value only in the higher-cost modes.

Angry Balls isn’t a traditional slot game. It’s a multiplier chase disguised as an Angry Birds clone, and knowing that before playing makes all the difference.

How to play Angry Balls

Anyone who has tried to play any version of Angry Birds will quickly adapt to the slingshot and only needs to get familiar with the gambling mechanics of the Angry Balls game. To start playing, set your bet using the arrow keys in the bottom menu, then click and hold the slingshot. Drag the mouse to adjust the angle, then release when the slingshot turns green.

You can, of course, choose your own angle if you feel confident about where higher-value coins might be, but the landings remain random in nature.

The goal here is to collect coins, trigger power-ups, or demolish the makeshift structures on the board. It’s worth noting that simply hitting a structure won’t destroy it. The ball must connect with the weak wooden point for the structure to break.

Angry Balls is now available to play on Stake, and it’s already proving a popular alternative to typical slot games. With all of this information in mind, interested players should confident in giving it a shot.
