Teams to Watch at PGL Wallachia Season 7
Here are some teams we recommend keeping an eye on:
Top Contenders
Team Liquid currently look like one of the best teams in the world – an undoubted top three. The Boys in Blue are fielding their complete roster and are poised for a deep run.

We haven’t really seen Team Spirit in prime form for a while, mainly because the team’s mid-laner, Larl, has been out due to surgery for several months. However, he’s finally back and will play with the team here in Wallachia, and we all know how much of a threat the full Spirit lineup can be.
Team Falcons are coming into PGL Wallachia without Malr1ne, who we believe is the team’s best player. They’re going to play with Lorenof, a capable replacement, but losing their mid-laner will be a big hit to their overall potential.
Tundra Esports came off a win at DreamLeague Season 28 just a week ago, but they’ll be missing Pure for the event. The squad is taking a huge gamble by bringing in Parker. It’s really hard to tell how this lineup will perform.
Dark Horses
PARIVISION recently went through a roster change, bringing in rookie tripleS. They had a very underwhelming first showing at DreamLeague Season 28, where they almost went winless in the second group stage. However, they might have used the break between tournaments to figure things out.
OG have been “group stage warriors” over the past few months. They would always perform well in groups, but falter in the playoffs. If they can overcome their playoff jitters, OG could become a serious threat.
The young squad of NAVI has players with sky-high potential. We’ve seen flashes of their brilliance at BLAST Slam VI, where they finished second. They might continue to surprise here in Wallachia.

Underdogs
Hopes were at an all-time low when news broke out that Scofield had left HEROIC, but since bringing in TaiLung, they look like a squad that can deal some real damage. We’re excited to see the teenage prodigy in action once again.
The Vici Gaming core consists of the former Team Tidebound roster that placed top eight at The International. Though they’ve been quiet over the past few months, their veteran experience gives them the tools to at least be competitive here.
Our PGL Wallachia Season 7 Predictions
We believe this tournament is going to be far more interesting than others, as there will be abnormally high variance due to how many top teams are fielding stand-ins. There’s a lot of potential for upsets and unpredictable results.
One thing we can confidently say is that Team Liquid and Team Spirit are two of the best candidates to make a deep run at this event. These are the two top five teams that aren’t playing with any stand-ins.
Tundra Esports are arguably the best team in the world right now, but it’s going to be a different story here in Wallachia with Parker as their carry. Parker is an extremely skilled player, but we can all agree he isn’t the most stable one out there. It’s difficult to predict how he will perform within Tundra’s organized structure, so we advise avoiding bets on them for the first few matches until we get an idea of how well they’re playing.
If you’re looking for some value Dota 2 bets, we recommend keeping an eye on OG and Natus Vincere. These two teams historically do well in group stages. Additionally, with Wallachia being played in a studio environment without a crowd, they might feel comfortable. This event could be the breakout tournament for either team.
