Perfect World Cup bet sees Trainwreckstv get a $5.5 million payday

The popular online gambling streamer Trainwreckstv made an extremely unlikely World Cup bet that happened to come through, earning him over $5.5 million in the process.
The ongoing 2026 World Cup has been the only thing the internet has been talking about. Whether people are rooting for their favorite teams to win or betting on their personal predictions, social media has been ablaze with content owning to the fact that the tournament only takes place every four years.
Many people also see the tournament as a chance to make money off their predictions, though for most it is a hobby where small amounts can be earned. Trainwreckstv turned that logic on its head, raking in millions of dollars on a single prediction that initially seemed too unlikely to ever come true.
How Trainwreckstv won millions from the 2026 World Cup
Trainwreckstv looked at the World Cup knockout stages and saw it as an opportunity to profit — and profit he did.
The American Kick streamer chose two big fixtures (Brazil vs Norway, and Mexico vs England) and made bold predictions on the exact scoreline, which is one of the markets offering the most generous odds.
As expected, betting on the underdog has the potential to yield massive returns. Trainwreckstv did just that when he bet on England to beat Mexico and Norway to beat Brazil on crypto casino Stake. This isn’t all the streamer did as he called his scoreline predictions. He bet that the score would be 2-1 for Norway and 3-2 for England. In the first match, Neymar’s late consolation penalty for Brazil ensured that the bet was still on to win.

Train’s luck came through here, with the streamer’s predictions being absolutely correct. He bet $9,990.01, and the odds of his prediction becoming a reality had a were at a long 560. This means that his final payout was a whopping $5,594,405,60. The amount was so insane that even Stake’s official X account had to share it.
It’s arguably more impressive that the streamer even put a secondary bet on the same two matches. He bet $39,969.04 on both teams to score in the match. The payline for this was 41.04, and it also ended favorably for Train, giving him an extra $1,639,960.04. This means that he won a total of $7,234,365.64 in just a couple of hours. This is on top of his recent casino win of $50m.
It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Trainwreckstv is comfortably one of the richest streamers at this point, as his net worth shows. It is for this reason he is able to make such outlandish wagers, even if he does frequently have big losses too.
Train may well put his predictions to the test in the coming weeks, with the World Cup ending on 19 July — before then the quarter-finals will need to take place, with eight teams still in the tournament. Should you wish to try some wagers of your own, Stake is one of the betting sites offering plenty of World Cup odds.
