Paper Rex vs Leviatan Match Analysis
Paper Rex took down Leviatan in the first round of the Upper Bracket at this event with a pretty convincing win. However, Leviathan have clawed their way through the Lower Bracket, winning four matches in a row and looking like a completely different team.
Though Paper Rex looked good in the earlier stages of the event, we weren’t too happy with their Upper Bracket Final series against EDward Gaming, where they looked extremely shaky. The matchup should have been a walk in the park, but Paper Rex were pushed into overtime in two maps before winning the series 2-1.

On the other hand, Leviatan blew the Chinese squad out of the water, sweeping them 3-0 in the Lower Bracket Final with no issues. This shows us that Leviatan have a dependable map pool and can perform with their backs against the wall.
Though Paper Rex enter this grand final series as heavy favorites, we strongly believe Leviatan are in better shape. The South American squad is also riding high on momentum and could easily translate that into a close match.

Paper Rex vs Leviatan Betting Picks and Predictions
Though Leviatan are very young and inexperienced, they’ve proven that the high stakes and pressure of the VCT Masters London stage does not faze them at all.
Leviatan displayed a great performance in the match against EDward Gaming yesterday, inspiring a lot of confidence in us. Their individuals were fragging out and they have shown decent depth in their map pool.

On top of Leviatan looking good, Paper Rex are also known to be shaky and inconsistent at times, especially in grand final matches. We could definitely see Leviatan steal a couple maps away.
Due to the reasons above, we believe Leviatan are good to win two maps in this series. We still believe Paper Rex will win in the end, but taking them at 1.32 odds doesn’t sound too appetizing. So, our only bet on this series will be Leviatan +1.5 maps.
