Exclusive: Originality is key to casino streaming, says M2THAK

If you are looking to break into the competitive casino streaming industry then it is key to find your own voice, as originality is what audiences appreciate most. That is according to M2THAK, who recently sat down for an exclusive interview with WIN.gg.

The 38-year-old American, who has had a varied career to date having started in pranking content, is now firmly established as a major name in the world of casino streaming and regularly lands big wins on BC.Game as well as producing memorable IRL content.

M2THAK’s advice to streamers

M2THAK recently covered all aspects of his career to date in our exclusive interview, and when we asked him what advice he would give to budding casino streamers, he said: “Don’t copy everyone else. The biggest mistake new creators make is chasing somebody else’s formula. Find your own identity because audiences connect with originality.”

This advice checks out given that the internet is full of casino streamers at the moment, and the industry is saturated; this is primarily due to the ease with which anyone can now stream their content due to platforms like Twitch and Kick.

The latter has made a clear move towards encouraging casino streamers to use their platform. That growth in creators has also led to audiences of millions, so there is definitely an opportunity for authentic and unique characters in the ecosystem — especially when it comes to slots. Slots are where most of the big wins are, and interaction with the chat and providing entertainment can really make a streamer stand out.

Part of M2THAK’s success can be explained by his creativity across multiple platforms. As well as having 11.6k followers on Kick, the streamer also boasts 3.9m followers on Instagram and 58k on YouTube.

The future of streaming

In terms of his predictions for the future, M2THAK said: “I think streaming becomes more immersive. Audiences want to feel like they’re actually there rather than watching from a distance. Better production, real-world experiences, and stronger communities are where things are heading.”

M2THAK’s pointers can be seen as common sense advice for anyone that is looking to grow their followers and even possibly make a career out of casino games. Of course, those at the absolute pinnacle of casino streaming include Trainwreckstv and Adin Ross, both of whom have signed lucrative contracts with crypto casinos, extending their reach even further.
