NRG vs Nongshim RedForce Match Analysis
This match between NRG and Nongshim RedForce will be a match for the history books. Both teams are in peak form and have already taken down some of the best teams in the world to get to this point.
NRG had to fight their way through the Swiss Stage, where they stumbled against Paper Rex and suffered their first – and only – loss of the tournament. In the playoffs, NRG scraped past BBL before getting their revenge on Paper Rex, proving they managed to patch up their mistakes and can improve on the fly. That’s championship material.
On the other side, Nongshim didn’t have an easy path to the top three either. Even though this is their first international VCT event, they managed to take down G2 Esports despite the gap in experience, booking their spot in the upper bracket final. Dambi, in particular, has been the star of the show, wreaking havoc on his signature Neon.

When we turn to the veto, Nongshim have set Peal as their perma-ban, which will likely allow NRG to pick Abyss. Abyss is one of NRG’s most successful maps, and we already saw G2 dismantle Nongshim on the map, with the South Korean squad barely putting up a fight
NRG will most likely ban Bind, which opens up Corrode for Nongshim. That could be a potential weak point for the VCT champions, as they have yet to play the map at this event.

NRG vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Picks and Predictions
The best esports betting sites label this as a close match, but we don’t really agree. When you’re this deep into a tournament, experience and composure play a major role, and we feel like NRG have the tools to take this series comfortably.

That being said, there’s also a world where both teams trade their map picks, so over 2.5 maps could be another option.
We expect this to be one of the most entertaining matches of the event, as both sides are equipped with explosive duelists who don’t back down from a fight.
