Nintendo Direct June 2026: Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokémon DLC, and more announced

After months of waiting, a real Nintendo Direct was announced for June 9, accompanied by a Treehouse Live afterward. There hasn’t been one since August, which left the Nintendo Switch 2 pretty barren in terms of first-party titles. That changed with this stream. Here’s everything that was announced.

First up, the initial reveal at the June Nintendo Direct was Rhythm Heaven Groove. This was not a new revelation, as it was revealed back in March. We did get a much more in-depth look at what’s in store, including over 80 rhythm games and new modes. It’s out July 2.
The second major announcement was previously leaked, but it is still exciting. Pokémon Pokopia is getting DLC. This introduces swimming mechanics. It also adds a new town with new furniture. The paid DLC is available today, with other parts launching in August and in 2027. Mythical Pokémon Manaphy is joining, too.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave was the heavy hitter at the last Nintendo Direct, but more information was shared. The story was revealed, as well as some of the new mechanics for this installment. It’s going to be released on September 17.
