Controversial streamer Nina “NinaDaddyisBack” Lin was previously banned from Twitch for harassing someone live on stream, and after being caught shoplifting during a livestream upon her return she appears to have gotten her channel suspended again. This is the third time Nina Lin has been banned from Twitch in approximately six weeks.

Nina Lin’s transition from viral TikToks to a full-time streamer has been relatively successful, with the content creator focusing on IRL streaming. Unfortunately, her actions on stream have repeatedly gotten her in trouble. She has done everything from harassing people on stream to apparently streaming herself shoplifting. Twitch has now again taken action against the streamer soon after a shoplifting video went viral, leaving onlookers to wonder whether Nina Lin was actually banned for stealing while streaming.

Nina Lin hit with Twitch ban after stealing

Twitch hasn’t officially disclosed the reason for the latest Nina Lin ban, but her channel was suspended following clips of her apparently shoplifting at a Target location and another video of her getting into an altercation with a woman while streaming.

Nina Lin was initially seen at a self-checkout in a Target, streaming herself shopping. Viewers were quick to point out that the streamer was scanning cheaper items while apparently taking the more expensive items without paying for them. The incident went viral across social media, with many going so far as to ask that authorities be alerted to the apparent act, but Twitch didn’t initially address the incident.

Nina herself discussed the incident in a stream, refusing to apologize and claiming she didn’t actually steal anything.

Nina Lin was also part of an altercation during a broadcast in which a woman confronted the streamer and her companions for allegedly “causing a scene” at the restaurant where she works. The streamer denied any wrongdoing and instead told the woman she was the only one “making a scene.” The encounter lasted long enough for harsh words to be exchanged while the woman claimed she was just trying to do her job while the Twitch streamer and her group of friends were causing issues.

Nina and those with her continued arguing, and Lin became visibly agitated, threatening violence against the woman. She had to be dragged away from the confrontation by her friends while continuing to yell.

Whether it’s down to her being caught shoplifting or getting into another heated incident on stream, it’s certain that something Nina did went against Twitch’s official rules, but the official reason for Nina Lin’s latest Twitch ban remains undisclosed. It is however confirmed that this latest suspension isn’t permanent. Opening Nina Lin’s channel displays that it’s temporarily unavailable, confirming that she will one day be able to return to the platform.

Fans’ reaction to this has been instantaneous, with many claiming Twitch is protecting the streamer rather despite her repeated actions that have led to her being banned.
