Who Will the Next James Bond Actor Be? Trade on Kalshi With the WINGGPREMAR Promo Code

Who’s going to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond? This is a question that has permeated pop culture since No Time to Die released in 2021. Plenty of prominent actors have had their names thrust into the conversation, but it has largely been a private affair for the producers.
That said, Amy Pascal of Sony Pictures has finally put a loose timeline on the casting announcement, which means things are finally moving. But when? And who?
James Bond to be announced by the end of the year
There’s no timetable for when the next James Bond film will be released, but the first step in the process is to give the role to an actor. Then, they can get Denis Villeneuve working on his long-awaited movie.
We still don’t know who is going to be the lucky thespian, but we do know when they’ll be confirmed. Amy Pascal, the producer behind the movie, has said it’s a “safe bet” to assume that it will be by the end of 2026. This has been a long process, but the light at the end of the tunnel can be seen.

Tons of names have been thrown around by fans and analysts for the next James Bond. Idris Elba, Callum Turner, and even the American Austin Butler have all been mentioned. There are no official names, but Kalshi has a prediction market for this very thing.
Here are those who have markets available and their chance of being cast according to traders at the time of writing:
- Callum Turner: 36%
- Aaron Taylor-Johnson: 19%
- Jacob Elordi: 17%
- Tom Francis: 10%
- Aaron Pierre: 9%
- Josh O’Connor: 9%
- Tom Holland: 9%
- Damson Idris: 7%
- Theo James: 7%
- Henry Cavill: 4%
- Idris Elba: 4%
- Cillian Murphy: 2%
Based on this, it’s a three-horse race between Callum Turner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Jacob Elordi. While interesting options, it remains unlikely that Josh O’Connor, Damson Idris, or Theo James are truly being considered by Sony according to users of the Kalshi app.
Callum Turner
Callum Turner appears to be the favorite, and it’s not a terribly surprising turn of events. Turner has really entered the mainstream lately with several big roles. He starred in Eternity, which is perhaps his most notable leading man role to date.
He is also in One Night Only, which is about to hit theaters, alongside Monica Barbaro. Apple TV has tapped him to lead the upcoming adaptation of Neuromancer. Fittingly, and like almost everyone on the Kalshi prediction market, he is British.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been around in the public eye a bit longer, and he’s quickly becoming a sought-after actor. He is perhaps most known for Bullet Train, but he’s also been in Kick-Ass, Nocturnal Animals, and 28 Years Later.
Taylor-Johnson has leading-man capabilities, but he’s also morphed into a character actor recently, fully disappearing into his role in Nosferatu, and he appears poised to do so again with Robert Eggers’ Werwulf.
Jacob Elordi
Jacob Elordi scored an Oscar nomination for his work on Frankenstein, which gives him the acclaim that the other viable James Bond candidates just don’t have. He is also famous for Euphoria on HBO, which gives him a level of fame and prominence most of the others don’t have, either.
He is also the star of the upcoming movie, The Dog Stars. Elordi has also worked on Saltburn, Wuthering Heights, and Priscila. Could he be the next Bond? It’s possible, though Kalshi traders aren’t convinced of this currently. Regardless, the next actor to take on the iconic role should be revealed within the next few months.
