Wingman holding Operator

Valorant’s Wingman is so cute that players would take him everywhere if possible. For now, you can hang out with him on Discord for free.

Gekko’s Wingman is deadly, but he’s criminally cute. A cross of penguin and armadillo, the cute companion has become pretty popular in the Valorant community. From plushies to figurines, players keep finding ways to keep Wingman with them at all times.

Now, Riot is allowing players to cosplay as Wingman on Discord, sort of. You can earn an animated avatar of Wingman holding a Boba tea for your Discord. The animation would work even for those who don’t have a Nitro by simply playing the game. That’s a pretty sweet deal.

Play Valorant on a desktop or a connected console for 15 minutes to earn the Wingman Avatar on Discord.

This offer is only available until August 7. It’s also worth noting that the Wingman Avatar won’t stick around forever. You can only keep the companion for two months. Here’s a step-by-step guide to unlocking the Wingman Avatar on Discord:

For the console, follow the same steps and then:

In both cases, you’ll need to complete 15 minutes of playtime, which equals roughly one Swiftplay game. Alternatively, you can play multiple Deathmatches since completing the entire bar in a single sitting isn’t a compulsion. But make sure you fulfill the 15-minute playtime requirement before August 7 to earn the Wingman Avatar on Discord for two months.
