Worlds Pick'em returns for 2019 League of Legends World Championship

The 2019 League of Legends World Championship is just around the corner. This year, Europe and North America seem to have a real shot at taking home the Summoner’s Cup and its newly designed Louis Vuitton case.

Will Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng and Team Liquid finally make it out of groups? Will G2 Esports continue to be a force on the international stage? Will Fnatic be able to get revenge and win its second World Title after being the runner-up in 2018? Will SK Telecom T1 reclaim the top spot in League of Legends by winning its fourth championship? Or will Invictus Gaming successfully defend its title?

Any player that thinks they have the answer to these questions can prove it in the Worlds Pick’em, and potentially win a pack of Ultimate Skins.

2019 Worlds Pick’em has a lot to offer LoL fans

This year’s Pick’em features special in-game rewards including icons and skins. It also gives players a chance to test their League of Legends knowledge and see how they fare against other players from around the world.

Pick’ems will have special in-game missions for both the group and knockout stages. Players who earn at least 34 points in the Pick’em will receive a new Poro Summoner Icon.

Riot Games will reward every player who participates with 500 blue essence, which can be put towards new champions and other goodies. Any player that gets a perfect bracket will receive the top prize of every Ultimate Skin in the game. This includes Elementalist Lux, Pulsefire Ezreal, Spirit Guard Udyr, DJ Sona, and Gun Goddess Miss Fortune.

Players with a League of Legends account can take part in the Pick’em fun by heading to the official LoL esports website. Pick’ems will open for the group stage on October 9 at 11 a.m. PT. This is followed by the knockout stage pick’ems, which opens on October 21.

The full list of details can be found on the official League of Legends website.
