A 21-year-old woman is reportedly in police custody for stabbing her younger sister over a long-distance boyfriend in Valorant, reports have revealed.
Fatiha Marzan was arrested on a first-degree murder charge last week and accused of killing her younger sister, 20-year-old Sayma Marzan, in Southern Charm Drive, the
Orlando Sentinel reported. According to the arrest report, Fatiha used a “dagger-style knife” to stab Sayma multiple times in the heart for allegedly making advances on her boyfriend through
Valorant’s
in-game chat.
The shocking news comes from
Orange County authorities
who received a call from a home in Southern Charm Drive in eastern Orlando on September 26 at 7:32 pm. According to the Sherrif, Fatima had plotted to murder her sister for two weeks over her disapproval of Samya’s flirtatious behavior toward her long-distance boyfriend. The accused had allegedly told the police that Samya was dead after she stabbed her sister three to four times in the heart.

The sisters’ disputes started when Fatiha learned about Samya’s advances toward her boyfriend of five years. According to the report, the accused took an extreme step when her boyfriend told Samya that he loved her. The younger sister played Valorant with Fatiha’s boyfriend and shared messages through the in-game chat system.
“Fatiha said her sister, Sayma, had been trying to steal her boyfriend for the past year. Fatiha recently found out that her boyfriend would flirt back with Sayma and told her that he loved her,” The Orange County arrest affidavit says.
Soon after, Fatima shopped for a dagger-style knife from Amazon and kept it in hidden for two weeks. Then, on the night of the alleged murder, Fatima waited till 4:30 am for their family to sleep before finishing the job she had been deliberating for weeks. Orlando County has revealed that Fatiha called 911 about 15 hours after the alleged murder. Sayma was pronounced dead 20 minutes later.
Fatiha has plead not guilty through her public defender and is being held without bond.
