WIN.gg is launching its own unique esports rankings for Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and League of Legends. These rankings are developed using a proprietary algorithmic method, helping us to truly identify who the best players and teams in the world really are.

The WIN.gg rankings scan the entire competitive sphere of each game and ranks players and teams based on a number of different factors. This gives fans the most comprehensive look possible at their favorite games and pro players.

Interested in which of your favorite game’s stars is truly best? Want to know which up-and-coming players to watch out for? WIN.gg has you covered.

Closely tracking the action of any one game can be difficult. Just focusing on the largest events is challenging enough, never mind the various academy, regional, semi-pro, and qualifying leagues that are in play.

WIN.gg remedies this by using algorithms to keep an eye on the pro scene from top to bottom, and ranks the players and teams based on their performance across the board. This gives a truly comprehensive and objective look at each esports title that can’t be found anywhere else.

WIN.gg rankings FAQ

How do WIN.gg rankings work? What makes them different?

Our rankings consider millions of games in order to determine the best players in the world at any given moment. We use data from every professional and semi-professional match available to fuel the math that create our original rankings.

How are these rankings created?

The WIN.gg rankings are algorithmically generated using stats and match outcomes. The algorithm scans games from all regions and almost every level of competition. This allows thousands of players and hundreds of teams to be ranked in a way that simply isn’t available elsewhere.

Why isn’t my favorite player or team ranked higher?

The WIN.gg rankings are based on stats and results. Because of this, the rankings don’t consider the intangible qualities of players or teams that might resonate with fans. Championship legacies and auras of superiority are not considered within the algorithm. Our rankings are built using only real and objective information.
