The team failed to impress at Resurgence and the Stage 3 Major, which could bode poorly for it at the championship event. Nonetheless, OpTic Texas certainly has the talent to win the 2022 Call of Duty League Championship.
Some of the other teams who could be in contention to win the Call of Duty League Championship 2022 include Seattle Surge and LA Guerrillas. Seattle Surge enters the 2022 CDL Championship already a champion after a big win at the Stage 3 Major. The Surge also came second in the Kickoff Classic, though that result came at the beginning of the year. LA Thieves took a highly-competitive silver at the Pro Am Classic along with a great finish at the Stage 4 Major. Popular main AR Sam “Octane” Larew has put up great numbers all season long, which he will hope to continue at the 2022 CDL Championship.
