Nicholas “Sapnap” is a Minecraft content creator who’s been growing on Twitch and across social media. The Minecraft streaming community has itself been growing thanks to the likes of popular personalities Dream and GeorgeNotFound, and Sapnap can often be seen collaborating with these Minecraft stars. But how did Sapnap get started?
How old is Sapnap?
Sapnap was born in Texas on 2001, making him 21 years old. He fell in love with gaming at a young age, finding particular joy in Minecraft. Sapnap was originally going to college for computer science before dropping out.
Sapnap soon started streaming on Twitch and posting videos to YouTube. He now lives in Orlando, Florida with
Dream, the most popular Minecraft creator in the world. Sapnap also lives with three cats and a dog.
When did Sapnap start streaming Minecraft?
Sapnap is currently one of the most popular Minecraft content creators. He started off on YouTube, uploading his first video in the winter of 2019. Sapnap has since blown up on YouTube, boasting 3.7 million subscribers on his main channel. He also has a second channel for livestreaming.
Sapnap joined Twitch in 2020, which is quite recent. He already has over 2 million followers on his Twitch channel. When streaming on Twitch, Sapnap almost exclusively streams Minecraft content.
Sapnap is a regular on Dream’s Minecraft Manhunt series and other collaborative content series with his fellow Minecraft streamers.

The Dream Team is a collaborative group of Minecraft streamers, including Dream, GeorgeNotFound, and BadBoyHalo. Sapnap is part of the Dream Team, creating content with its various members who sometimes also call themselves The Muffinteers.

Sapnap isn’t just a Minecraft player, though that’s how he gained most of his popularity. Sapnap is also a musician who is able to play the violin. He announced that he was starting a band called Power on April 3, 2021. The band includes DanTDM, Krtzyy, TimeDeo, and Wisp in addition to Sapnap. Power is currently on an international gaming and music tour.
