When is Valorant Agent 26 release date?

Valorant Agent 26, rumored to be codenamed Sherry, is likely going to join the initiators. Here’s what we know about the Valorant Agent 26 release date.

Riot has so far teased the claw of upcoming Agent 26 in the official Valorant episode 9 act 1 trailer. The claw looked similar to Omen’s hand, who previously worked at the Hourglass Kingdom. Since all teasers regarding the next agent, rumored to be Sherry, include the hourglass sign, players think there’s some sort of connection there.

It’s safe to say that Agent 26 is a lore-heavy character, but from the teasers, it seems like they are pretty deadly as well.

New cards point towards branch-like ropes around a glass hourglass. The branches were similar to the ones spotted in the first official teasers, where they were bursting out of the floor as the abilities of other agents lay dormant.

Valorant Agent 26 release date

According to leakers, Valorant Agent 26 will be fully revealed at the VCT Seoul 2024 finals on August 25. This means that players should expect a release for Valorant Agent 26 on August 27, 2024.

Each Valorant act runs for roughly two months. Since Act 1 kicked off on June 25, it means it shall end on August 25, two days before the finals. This could mean that Agent 26 will be released either on August 25 or a few days after the official reveal. Our guess is that August 25 is a more solid release date since agents are typically launched a few days after the official reveal at VCT.

If that calculation ends up being correct, Valorant Agent 26 is only a month away. The agent will join Gekko and Fade in the initiator roster. This is excellent news for players who like to gather information from the sidelines and only enter a messy duel when necessary.
