New info on the release of Shorekeeper in Wuthering Waves has Rovers impatient and excited. Here’s all we know about the upcoming character.
Wuthering Waves is a story-rich open-world action semi-free world RPG by Kuro Game Studio. Released in early 2024, it has garnered a fan following in quick succession due to large compatibility with platforms, and a beautiful story.Â
Kuro Games has spoiled their fans with the recent announcement of Shorekeeper, and Youhu, who were revealed through drip marketing on August 4, 2024. Shorekeeper’s announcement has players excited and intrigued. She was revealed to be a 5-star Resonator from the Black Shores, as per the drip marketing.
Kuro games didn’t share much information about her playable version’s Attributes, weapon types, and other miscellaneous details. However, some leaks have revealed quite a lot of details regarding her.
WuWa leaks have been quite accurate in the past, but it goes without saying Rovers should take this with a grain of salt. The leaks started on the Chinese forum Tieba, and the English translations were brought to us by X users @Wuwa_Universe and @Naruoshioww. The leaks suggest Shorekeeper is a Galcio unit, and is expected to use Rectifier as her weapon, similar to Baizhi. Her abilities, as stated in the leaks, are as follows:
If Kuro Games follows the original schedule, Rovers are expected to meet with Shorekeeper soon, as she is expected to be released in the upcoming version 1.3.
Phase 1 is expected to happen on September 26, 2024, and Phase 2 on October 17, 2024. Since The Shorekeeper is the sole 5-star character, it is more likely to see her debut in Phase 1.Â
Some Rovers are skipping 1.2 to guarantee getting her, while others are already strategizing their gameplay surrounding the leaks. These leaks have certainly stirred up conversations amongst Rovers. Only time will tell if they are true or not.
