What’s the Darla and FaZe Lacy controversy?

Two weeks after announcing his girlfriend Darla Claire’s pregnancy, FaZe Clan member and streamer Nick “LucyHimself” Fosco has found that she had been cheating on him.

Earlier in July, LacyHimself announced that he may have to move out from FaZe Clan and quit streaming to “step up” after his girlfriend’s pregnancy. LacyHimself is still fairly new to FaZe Clan, having joined the content house in May after a series of layoffs. However, he still decided to step down from his new job to move in with Darla Claire, who’s also a Twitch streamer.

But, it turns out, Darla had been lying to LacyHimself about her living situation. This was revealed by Lacy’s cameraman, who had been in on Darla’s lies but didn’t say anything because he had a crush on her.

“Apparently she was on this contract with someone to use Lacy that I didn’t know about. She was dating Bryce the entire time for the last four months that I did not even know about.” The cameraman said.

Did Darla cheat on LacyHimself?

According to Lacy’s cameraman, Darla had been in some sort of contractual agreement to use Lacy for clout. He claimed that Darla made him lie about her living situation and say that she was living with him when in reality, she was staying with her ex-boyfriend Byrce Parker.

The cameraman revealed that Darla had been living with Bryce for more than four months and that he wasn’t aware that she was also secretly dating Lacy. He also mentioned that Darla had falsely portrayed their relationship, claiming they were cousins.

All of this came to light during a livestream. Lacy looked visibly upset and said that he didn’t want to hear her name again. The situation also received the attention of Cody “Clix” Conrod, Darla’s ex, whom she also allegedly cheated on.

Lacy’s friends advised him not to feel sympathy for his cameraman, who played a big role in Darla’s lies. On the other hand, Darla was cut by her management agency after the allegations came to light.

It’s worth noting that the controversy didn’t start after the cameraman’s revelations. Instead, Lacy suspected that Darla cheated on him on July 4th with her ex-boyfriend. However, Darla denied the accusation and insisted that she had not cheated during her Twitch livestream on July 7th.

She has not responded to fresh allegations. It remains to be seen if the new information changes Lacy’s decision to quit FaZe Clan and streaming.
