Riot Games has unveiled the 162nd League of Legends champion, K’Sante, who hails from the desert region of Shurima.

League of Legends has a huge roster of champions belonging to specific classes. 2022 saw five new characters added to the world of Runeterra. With the addition of Bel’Veth and Nillah, the carry class got tons of love. The upcoming character teased in the latest episode of LoL Pls will populate the tank roster, Ryan “Reav3” Mire has revealed.

The developer dropped three champions expected to join others shortly. However, K’Sante is the only champion named and detailed during the session.

What role is K’Sante in League of Legends?

K’Sante is meant to be a new LoL tank for the top lane.

The Pride of Nazumah, was first teased in the champion Roadmap in April 2022 is a “high skill” top lane tank. The 162nd character hails from an unexplored region of Shurima that will be introduced in the near future.

The developer is still tight-lipped about his kit, but hints suggest he’ll be mighty enough to give carries a run for their money. There’s plenty to glean from what the devs have revealed, painting him as a high-skill top lane.

What are K’Sante’s abilities?

K’Sante will have the ability to alternate between defense and offense.

K’Sante is a champion of the masses who are fighting against the monsters in Nazumah. This area called the oasis inhabits people who are struggling against giants who are limiting food and water. K’Sante becomes their savior and hunter, utilizing a unique weapon dubbed Ntofos.

K’Sante uses parts of monsters he’s killed to create a weapon that alternates between a shield and blade. The developer explained that these weapons are highly deadly and can be used defensively. But, in the right hands, Ntofos can be shattered at any time to “bludgeon the crap out of you.”

“Ntofos are huge, blunt weapons that can be used defensively. But at any moment, he can shatter them, revealing carefully crafted blades, capable of tearing through any foe in seconds,” the developer said.

This particular tank is high skill, with tons of potential to transform the meta. The game is currently loaded with robust tank lanes, but the developer has hinted that K’Sante may be the unkillable defensive tank that can instantly end the likes of Teemo.

What is the release date of K’Sante in LoL?

The exact release date of K’Sante hasn’t yet been revealed, but he may be added to LoL sometime in late 2022. Players will have to wait a few more months to run the powerful champion in League of Legends.
