The release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is around the corner, but there is still time to secure the flashy preorder bonus.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the first installment of the ninth generation. The game takes place in the Paldea region, where players will get to explore like never before. From the open world map to the non-linear storyline, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are innovating the standard Pokemon formula.

The game is releasing on November 18 and is currently available for preorder. The main advantage of preordering the game is the preorder bonuses, which change depending on where players purchase the game.

Nintendo eShop Pokemon Scarlet and Violet preorder bonus

The first option is Nintendo’s store on your device. The games are available individually for $59.99 for each version or in a bundle of both versions for $119.99. The preorder bonus is the same regardless of the option you purchase.

The preorder bonus includes a Pikachu with Fly, a move that it cannot learn otherwise, and Tera type Flying. It also includes the Adventure Set that comes with the following consumable items.

All of these items can be redeemed until February 2023.

The second best option is Target, those that acquire a double pack at Target will receive a figure of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters.

Players that opt for Best Buy will receive a Berry set that includes:

Amazon also has a good preorder bonus. Players who preorder the game from Amazon will get:

The game goes for the same price in every store, so it is not cheaper to buy it from a specific place. Some preorder bonuses, like Best Buy’s, apply only when players buy a Double Pack. Overall, the best option seems to be the Nintendo eShop.

All shiny Pokémon available in Pokémon GO in 2026 Pokemon
All shiny Pokémon available in Pokémon GO in 2026 Zachary Roberts Getting a shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO is an absolute treat. It's not as easy to hunt certain things on that game as it is on something like Legends: Z-A or Scarlet and Violet, but you can endlessly play by walking around. The shiny odds are much higher, too. At 1/512 base odds, it's much more likely than in a mainline game, where the odds are 1/4096. If you're interested ...

Recent Pokémon sales prove nostalgia is still king Zachary Roberts To celebrate the 30th anniversary, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen were brought to the Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) library. This came a little over a week before Pokémon Pokopia dropped. The former is a decades-old game, and the latter is a brand-new title unlike anything in the franchise. Additionally, it's a real Game of the Year contender. Yet, early sales reports indicate that the two are selling very similarly. FireRed ...
