ENCE is the most followed Counter-Strike team among Finnish fans. The team rapidly rose to prominENCE in 2018 by winning StarSeries Season 6 and DreamHack Winter, and cemented itself as a global force with a grand finals run at the 2019 IEM Katowice Major.

But from 2020 onward, ENCE has lost many players and performance has suffered badly. But now in 2022, ENCE is back on track and they might surprise some of their critics this year.

ENCE is officially qualified for the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major. Alongside that qualification, ENCE has also posted strong results in a variety of tournaments including a second-place finish in ESL Pro League Season 15.

This has led to the team being rated as a top-10 competitor in CSGO. Given how much momentum the team has, the big question is whether the team can climb even higher or if they’re set to stall

What is up next for ENCE?

ENCE reached the finals of the BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown, defeating Astralis. This earns the team a spot in the 2022 BLAST Spring Finals where it will face the likes of FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, Vitality, and more.

Prizes at esports tournaments might sound huge, but earning money by playing CS is not easy. That’s why CSGO fans sometimes look to bet on teams from home and look for the best casino bonus 2022.

The next major event for ENCE, fittingly, is the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major. The tournament will be organized by PGL in a LAN setting and will be played between May 9-22 in Belgium.

The winner of the major will take home $500,000. ENCE will start in the Challengers Stage, where 16 teams compete for spots in the Legends Stage. The top eight performers in a Swiss group stage will advance.

May 19-22 will see the Legends Stage. This will include another Swiss group stage arranged in a similar fashion. The top eight from this will advance to the Legends Stage playoffs. This is a straightforward eight-team playoff bracket with the winner taking the championship

ENCE has a long road ahead when it comes to winning the major, but the team will likely be labeled a dark horse to win. They have already gained fans’ confidENCE and will very likely advance beyond the Challengers Stage. Tune in and see some of the biggest names in CSGO.
