A lot of changes will happen to Vitality’s LEC roster going into the summer split, with three new players on the lineup.

In a recent announcement, Vitality presented its roster for the 2021 LEC Summer Split. The French team will be making a lot of changes, setting themselves up for an exciting and unpredictable split. The changes include former Fnatic jungler Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek, who will replace Duncan “Skeanz” Marquet on the starting roster. In top and mid, Vitality is going with talented players from the ERL leagues in top laner Enzo “SLT” Gonzalez and mid laner Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov.

Vitality announces new roster after weeks of rumors

The new players don’t come as a shock to many, since many rumors have been surrounding the team over the past weeks. The rumors started weeks ago that the young French top laner SLT would join the team after a great split with BIG in the German Prime League.

Shortly after, rumors started to flourish that Fnatic would be making big changes for both top and jungle. This has now resulted in Selfmade leaving the big organization to join Vitality in this exciting project. On paper, Selfmade looks to be both the star and leader of the team. While Vitality will keep its fairly experienced bot lane, Selfmade is going to be the one dictating the pace in most games.

Paired up with LIDER in the mid lane, the top-side for Vitality suddenly seems very aggressive and with big carry potential. With such an aggressive duo also comes risk, as LIDER is known as a player that will either take over a game or not have the biggest impact. The Norwegian mid laner has previously been in the LEC with Misfits Gaming but returned to the ERL scene through 2020 and up until now.

Under the wings of mousesports, LIDER proved himself once again during the spring split in Germany and will now be ready for another shot in the LEC. This time around, fans will have high expectations again but probably not in the same capacity as last time. This might take some pressure off LIDER’s shoulders and allow him to focus on improving steadily.

The new Vitality squad will debut in the 2021 LEC Summer Split on June 11.

What is the Vitality 2021 LEC roster?

Vitality looks to be the LEC team making the most changes going into summer, leaving a lot of question marks as to how they will perform. With that said, there will be a lot of eyes on the team as the lineup itself contains many interesting players.

Vitality’s LEC summer roster is:

  • Top – Enzo “SLT” Gonzalez
  • Jungle – Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek
  • Mid – Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov
  • Bot – Aljoša “Crownshot” Kovandžić
  • Support – Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis
