Twitch streamer ImJasmine banned for NSFW wardrobe malfunction
Twitch streamer ImJasmine banned for NSFW wardrobe malfunction
Twitch streamer ImJasmine decided to capitalize on the popular hot tub streaming meta on the live broadcast platform, but things didn’t go quite the way she planned.
During a stream where ImJasmine was wearing a bathing suit while chatting in a hot tub, her bikini top slipped, revealing part of her areola. When the Twitch chat pointed this out, ImJasmine immediately grabbed at her chest to fix her bathing suit. But it was apparently too late. Twitch banned the streamer for the wardrobe malfunction.
After ImJasmine’s ban became public, followers pointed out that that it was not surprising this happened. ImJasmine was apparently drunk during the stream, which is another strike against Twitch’s Terms of Service. The streaming platform states that streamers can drink alcohol on stream, but “drinking excessively” can even lead to a permanent ban.
According to some of ImJasmine’s viewers, the chat had noticed how affected ImJasmine was getting and told her to drink water at the end of the stream in an attempt to sober her up. ImJasmine started splashing around in the hot tub, drinking water from inside the blow-up contraption. This is what led to her bikini top slipping, which ImJasmine didn’t notice until the chat pointed it out.
Who is ImJasmine?
ImJasmine is a Canadian streamer who is known for her IRL content. This often includes trips to Japan. Her recent Just Chatting streams have been focused on hot tub streams and working out. This is most likely due to the travel restrictions around the world, leading the Vietnamese content creator to change her streaming content.
How long is ImJasmine banned?
It’s not been made public how long ImJasmine is banned for at the moment, but most speculate it will only be three days if the ban was related to nudity or sexual content. Almost all other female streamers who have been banned for similarly suggestive reasons has been only three days.
This has led to a lot of frustration from some in the Twitch community who feel the platform is sexist. Male streamers have been banned for over a month for less explicitly suggestive content.
