TNC welcomes Gabbi and NinjaBoogie
TNC is putting a new look on their roster after an underwhelming performance on The International 2018.
As the new Dota Pro Circuit season begins, several teams and organizations are restructuring and TNC is among them. TNC has bid goodbye to Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto and Samson Solomon Enojosa “Sam_H” Hidalgo. Raven was best known for his incredible Terrorblade and Drow Ranger plays, while Sam_H’s signature hero is Batrider.
TNC stayed strong in the Southeast Asian region throughout the year, but Mineski and Fnatic ended their reign at the region’s very top. These two teams were a consistent problem for TNC at major and minor qualifiers.
TNC has chosen to shake up its roster by letting go two of their core players. Carlo “Kuku” Palad, Timothy John “Tims” Randrup, and Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios have remained as part of the team.
For replacements, TNC welcomes Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross as the new member of their squad. Ninjaboogie will also be the new captain of TNC, while Kuku moves to the offlane role.
Gabbi takes the role of carry for TNC while there will be no movement on the roles of Armel and Tims. Gabbi is a Filipino Dota 2 prodigy who played for Execration and Team Admiral. He recently played as the mid laner for Clutch Gamers before making the transition to TNC.
Ninjaboogie is a Filipino veteran who was a part of Mineski’s recent success. His captaincy will provide a new guiding light for TNC in their journey towards the Aegis of Champions.
TNC will look much different in the new season, but fans will help that these differences are all for the better.
