After the Singapore Major was canceled, ONE Esports decided to put together a new event for top teams from its home region. The ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League boasts top teams fighting for the largest share of a $100,000 prize pool.

The 10-team league is in its second of four weeks of action. On the docket is a showdown between enduring Filipino organizations TNC Predator and Execration. Both teams are looking to bounce back after tough results and this is the chance to claim redemption.

TNC Predator vs. Execration betting analysis for ONE Esports SEA League

TNC Predator struggling in online matches

Despite technically still being the top seed in the Dota Pro Circuit rankings, TNC Predator is looking like a middle-of-the-pack team in the region right now. The team recently suffered an early exit at ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online, not advancing to the playoffs stage after losing four out of five series.

BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia was not a walk in the park, either. Neon Esports pulled off a massive upset against TNC in the second round of the playoffs.

TNC Predator is looking to rebound with the following lineup:

  1. Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte
  2. Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios
  3. Damien “kpii” Chok
  4. Timothy John “Tims” Randrup
  5. Park “March” Tae-won

The players have been forced to play separately because of the ongoing lockdown. The situation translated to a low quality of practice and last-minute connectivity issues. This might be the culprit of the TNC’s underperformance but the team’s struggles started even before that, as the team failed to qualify for the ESL One Los Angeles Major while the event was still classifed as an official major.

Once again, the team’s rapport will be tested on ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League.

Execration is on a massive losing streak

Execration has been struggling to claim a significant spot in the region for quite a long time. The team has a map record of 3-30 over its last 15 series, and has only won two series over the last month.

Execration has been playing with an unofficial roster for quite some time now, but has settled into using the following group over recent weeks:

  1. Jinn Marrey “Palos” Lamatao
  2. Benhur “Benhur” Lawis
  3. Arnold “Bhm” Austria Garcia Jr.
  4. Ralph Richard “RR” Peñano
  5. Marvin “yaha” Canlas

Execration recently placed last in a Tier-3 tournament called Asia Summer Championship.

TNC Predator vs. Execration ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League Online betting odds, predictions

TNC Predator is in a bad shape right now, but Execration seems too weak to take advantage of that. TNC Predator and Execration have faced off a couple of times in the past and the former always came out unscathed.

TNC Predator has the upper hand in this match. Winners.bet betting line favor TNC Predator with a whopping 4.42 vs. 1.17.  TNC’s recent struggles could open the door for a lucrative upset, but Execration has played poorly enough that it’s difficult to put that kind of faith in them.
