Looking to show off your favorite Call of Duty streamer mid-match? New player skins for Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff and Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar have arrived, a first for the Call of Duty franchise.
Like most modern Call of Duty games before it, Modern Warfare 2 started off with relatively realistic skins. However, as the game has aged, the developers have gotten more and more liberal with new additions. The latest batch added to the game includes two standout skins for streamers Nickmercs and TimTheTatman, who rank among the most popular streamers for the first-person shooter.
The skins were previously leaked by data miners, but now both streamers have confirmed that their images are headed to the game. The Nickmercs skin features a Spartan helmet, which is a frequent motif in the streamer’s content. The red and black body armor features custom knee pads, mag belts, and even the streamer’s face. The Nickmercs Modern Warfare 2 skin even comes with a hooded variant that replaces the Spartan helm for a black hooded cloak.
TimTheTatman’s skin is slightly more down-to-earth but still filled with homages to the streamer. His signature tattoos are an obvious inclusion, but longtime fans will also appreciate the appearance of stream penguin mascot Kevin. The Tatman also showed off gun skins included in the bundle, which feature a white and black tribal theme with custom stickers and keychains.
Both TimTheTatman and Nickmercs Modern Warfare 2 skins will release on May 31, 2023. Each one will be up for sale as a bundle, which will likely include other cosmetics with ties to the streamer. The prices for each bundle are not yet known, and it’s not clear if either streaming star will get a cut of the proceeds.
The only way to learn what the Nickmercs and TimTheTatman Modern Warfare 2 skin include and their selling price is to wait for their official release on May 31.
