TI10 Battle Pass already breaking records after one day
The International 10 Battle Pass has broken the 24-hour sales record.
Once again, the Dota 2 community proved its loyalty and passion for the game. The TI10 Battle Pass generated $32.6 million in 24 hours, and consequently bumped TI10’s prize pool to $8.1 million.
First 24 Hours — TI9 shattered pretty much every record but somehow the Dota community manages to shatter even that crazy record with another new one. ABSOLUTE BONKERS!! #TI10 #Dota2 pic.twitter.com/oQdESMIsn7

This marks the highest 24-hour sales record compared to all previous Battle Passes.
Every year, Dota 2 fans join forces to boost the prize pool of The International by purchasing the battle pass. The community always succeeds in making the tournament the richest esports event of the year, with 25% of the revenue from the battle pass being added to the prize pool of The International.
The International 2019 previously had the record, with a $7.4 million prize pool 24 hours after the TI9 Battle Pass’ release. Valve was lauded for delivering excellent skins in the previous Battle Pass after a somewhat underwhelming offering for The International 2018.
The TI10 Battle Pass surpassed TI9’s 24-hour prize pool record by $733,227, largely thanks to Dota 2 fans who are eager to get their hands on the exclusive Battle Pass content. The TI10 Battle Pass added a huge amount of in-game features including Guilds, the Battle Gauntlet, the Sideshop, and Pause-screen Playground. The TI10 Battle Pass also features five excellent skins including two Hero Personas and three Arcanas. The upcoming elite items are Pudge’s Persona, Anti-Mage’s Persona, and Arcana for Queen of Pain, Wraith King, and Windranger.
After a disappointing limited-time game mode in the TI9 Battle Pass, Valve is seemingly stepping up its game with this year’s offering. Though there are few details, it seems as though there will be a cooperative game mode where players navigate a “labyrinth of trials and horrors.”
The International 2020 Battle Pass is available for $9.99. Fans can purchase the Battle Pass Level 100 Bundle for a discounted price of $44.99.
As of this writing, the prize pool for TI10 is $8,269,009.
