This is why golf betting systems are a great option for betting
Bettors might not realize it, but golf can offer some of the best odds in sports in some of the same markets that punters are already familiar with.
Golf isn’t the first sport people think of when it comes to betting. It doesn’t have the flash of boxing or the constant action of football, but golf offers bettors some of the best returns in sports, provided players have a decent understanding of the game. Golf betting systems feature great variety and the potential to win big money with a relatively small bet.
Golf has the best of all sports betting worlds
Luckily, golf markets aren’t too much different than those found in other sports, with golf having arguably the most crossover between all of betting’s usual markets. On one side of golf wagering, players can find the common outright markets and place their money on a player to win a tournament straight up. But since golf tournaments can have upwards of a hundred individual players, the sport’s betting options can be closer to horse racing, with finishing bets just as common as outrights.

The high number of players that compete in golf tournaments creates a big opportunity for punters. It’s not uncommon for golfers to reach 50:1 and even 100:1 odds but still have a decent chance to give bettors an outright win. For example, the 2019 Augusta Masters saw favorite Rory McIlroy reach 7-1 odds. For a favorite, a $700 purse for only $100 down are odds you may not want to pass up. Dustin Johnson and Tiger Woods came in as the second and fourth favorites for the 2019 Masters, with Woods reaching incredible 16:1 odds.
Golf has familiar markets with better odds

If you bet Woods would leave the Augusta Masters with a title that year, that was a good bet. Woods took home the title and his fifth green jacket after taking the lead in the final round, netting punters $1600 on a mere $100 prop.
Golf also has matchup bets, where players wager that one golfer will score better than another, daily best score markets, and even the infamous prop bets players are familiar with from other sports. Examples of famous prop bets include correctly predicting the flavor of gatorade dumped on a Super Bowl-winning coach, and there are similar opportunities available at golf tournaments, particularly the biggest events that generate the most attention.
From horse racing enthusiasts to esports diehards, almost every bettor will feel right at home wagering on the slow and methodical sport of golf. At the end of the day, betting on golf is just like betting on any other mainstream sport, only with even better payouts on offer.
