Team Vitality is looking to make noise in the LEC’s 2022 season, and the French organization has built a star-studded roster that is expected to compete for the trophies.

Vitality has signed three new players for the upcoming season and all of them are stars in their own right. Most notable is the signing of mid laner Luka “Perkz” Perković who is returning to Europe after one year in North America. Vitality will also have a lot of firepower in the other roles, with jungler Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek and support Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis staying on the team to keep everything together with the new teammates.

The lineup is one that might finally see Team Vitality hit the heights that it is known for in Counter-Strike after years of being in the middle of the pack in League of Legends.

With Perkz coming in as the big star for Vitality next year, the main objective is to chase the LEC trophies and a spot in international tournaments. Perkz is joining after a turbulent year with Cloud9, where he didn’t manage to make the impression that most had hyped him up to do.

Now Perkz will return to Europe where he has won plenty of trophies already, but this time as the mid laner and leader of the Vitality super team. The secondary carry of the team will be bot laner Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság, who joins after two years on MAD Lions. The 19-year-old bot laner managed to win two LEC trophies in the 2021 season and will join Vitality with tons of momentum and confidence in the bag.

Supporting Carzzy will be Labrov, who has been a consistent performer for the team since joining in May 2020. He will be looking to enable the aggressive playstyle of Carzzy with the help of Selfmade in the jungle who impressed in the Vitality jersey during this year.

At last, will be top laner Barney “Alphari” Morris joining as the starting top laner. The British veteran is also returning to Europe after playing one year with Team Liquid in the LCS. Alphari is still looking like the consistent and dominant top laner that everyone knows, so having him alongside stars like Perkz and Carzzy will be interesting.

The new Vitality squad will hit Summoner’s Rift for the first time when the 2022 LEC Spring Split kicks off on January 14.

Team Vitality roster for the 2022 LEC season

Vitality has built a roster capable of winning trophies going into the 2022 season. With star players in all positions, it’s expected that Vitality will be the team to beat in 2022.
