There were three great games in 2021
Video games started out as just another toy, a fun way for kids to pass the time, and spend some time with friend. For many, it is difficult to believe that the gaming industry has taken off to now become a multi-billion-dollar industry.
In 2020, the video game market was worth upwards of $90 billion, a marked improvement from 2018’s $78 billion. This rise in worth is expected to continue in coming years.
Reasons for the rise of video games include improvement of technology and graphics, the increase in complexity in gameplay, as well as storytelling, and the rise of competitive gaming. Video game tournaments have been held since the release of the Super Nintendo, however, these tournaments took place in the arcades, and were largely amateur tournament that anyone could participate in.
Today, esports have become a huge part of gaming culture. Esports popularity has drawn a lot of new fans, and bettors, and has quickly become a favorite to bet on among users of online casinos. Many of these casinos are popular amongst gamers, as they offer a multitude of classic casino games like roulette online.
Most gamers, however, prefer the single-player games that got them started into their hobbies. In this article we will take a look at the three, best games of 2021, that best represent the gaming world.
Far Cry 6
As is the case with previous entries in the Far Cry franchise, Far Cry 6 is an action-oriented, first-person-shooter, open world game, where the player controls a character who finds themselves lost in a fictional, third-world country. In the case of Far Cry 6, the country is called Yara and is found in the Carribean.
The gameplay is not much different from previous installments. The map is separated in seven regions, that the player can navigate, either on foot, or with one of the many land, or sea vehicles available in the game. A range of weapons are available to the player, from typical firearms, to more custom weapons, such as a nail gun or slingshots.
Far Cry 6 was met with positive reviews overall, ranging from mostly 8/10 reviews, to the occasional 9/10, and some rare 6s.
Psychonauts 2

Psychonauts 2 is set in the same world as the original, and it features returning characters, as well as original characters.
Like the original, Psychonauts 2 is a third-person, platformer, where the player controls Raz. Throughout the game, Raz gets new psychic abilities, as his own power progresses. Players can utilize psi-based powers like telekinesis, pyrokinesis, telepathy, etc. in order to accomplish the goals set by the game.
