The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been leaked in full, and we have spoilers.

The new and highly anticipated Zelda game is officially out on May 12, 2023, but the game has already been leaked online. The game itself has been spotted for sale on various websites, and gameplay has been streamed on Discord and Twitch.

Here is what we learned about Tears of the Kingdom ahead of its release later this month.

Warning: Some light spoilers ahead!

The game starts with Link and Zelda exploring an underground tunnel, eventually discovering the remains of Ganon. The iconic (and now sexy) villain comes back to life and creates a giant pit that is meant to trap both characters, but Link is pulled back out of the portal and wakes up on a floating island.

While he started the game with the full power he gained at the end of Breath of the Wild, Link wakes up with no powers at all. He also has only a tiny bit of health remaining.

Temples, shrines, and underground

During his new adventure, Link comes across at least five temples that act as traditional RPG dungeons. Dataminers have uncovered that these dungeons have multiple levels and a puzzle area. The dungeons are not as complex as the ones in the franchise’s past games, but they are still going to be refreshing for fans of the genre.

On top of dungeons, there are over 100 shrines, according to some players with early access to the game.

While the initial trailers focus on the floating islands above the kingdom, there is a huge underground area beneath Hyrule that players can explore. The underground world is huge but pretty dark.

Champions and dragons

You won’t be going on these dangerous quests alone, however. There are champions that will assist Link in boss fights and help solve puzzles in the temples in their designated area. While there are new champions, there are also dragons. This includes a light dragon and a dark dragon.

On top of the dragons — which also includes Dinraal, Farosh, and Naydra from Breath of the Wild — there will be a variety of Gleeoks. These three-headed monsters will have different elements, and some will even have three elements in one. You will also find baby Gleeoks.

Meanwhile, you can’t pet dogs.
