From its founding, Las Vegas has always been a paradise for entertainment. While gambling has dominated the city’s history, there are plenty of other performances and places to enjoy. Video game fans also have plenty to enjoy in the city, with multiple arenas dedicated to competitive gaming.

If you’re an esports fan planning a trip to Sin City, these are the best esports venues to check out while you’re there.

The HyperX Esports Arena is four stadiums in one

The Esports Arena Las Vegas debuted in 2019 as the region’s first dedicated esports facility. The Luxor hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip houses 30,000 square feet of pure esports.

The arena actually contains four different esports venues, including the main stage, competition stage, broadcast studio, and control room. Esports Arena, a division of Allied Esports, paid $10 million to build and own the venue. The Staples Center in Los Angeles was also designed by the same architectural firm that created the facility, giving it the same pedigree as official NBA games.

The Esports Arena Las Vegas is the most recent of several brand-new esports venues to launch in recent years. These locations are made to offer a specific area for esports events. You may not enjoy the latest offers from online casinos in the US, but nothing can beat the excitement of attending esports events in person.

These esports-focused stadiums are also designed to provide a more engaging experience suited to gaming. The Esports Arena Las Vegas’ launch is evidence of how popular esports are becoming. Championships, leagues, and exhibition games are among the activities the arena is anticipated to hold.

How Las Vegas earned its esports capital

The gaming space started as an establishment called Allied Esports, which first started operations at MGM Luxor in March 2018. Allied Esports began as a collaboration to offer a network of 10 different esports venues throughout the world.

Yet the arena serves more purposes than merely hosting sporting events. It has the necessary technical resources and space to function as an expert studio for esports competitions.

It now joins the ranks of Blizzard’s Overwatch-focused gaming stadium, which was inaugurated in Los Angeles the same year. In November of 2018, Allied Esports underwent a makeover to become the HyperX Esports Arena. This put the stadium in close collaboration with one of the biggest names in esports peripherals.

The venue has since operated as the HyperX Esports Arena for the past five years. HyperX contributes to the arena in ways other than just decoration. The majority of the tools and accessories used by players are provided by the manufacturer.

The HyperX Esports Arena is more than just pro gaming

With 30,000 square feet of space, the HyperX Esports Arena is a sizable building. While not functioning as a former stadium, it behaves much like an internet cafe. For $50, visitors can purchase an all-day pass that grants access to all of the available gaming stations.

In addition to gaming, the venue has a complete cocktail bar and restaurant. They incorporate the idea of gaming and offer a unique spin on many conventional recipes.

The main stage is where the arena’s rotating schedule of events is hosted. All of the action is displayed on a gargantuan 50-foot LED display. Open competitions every month provide cash rewards, giving incentives to stop by even if there are no major events.

Three VIP rooms offer a luxurious space to unwind. Dinner and beverages can be provided to go along with your entertainment by the kitchen and cocktail bar. For gaming fans, there’s nothing better than kicking back and enjoying international events while also enjoying the luxuries of Las Vegas.

The gaming community has embraced streaming, and the HyperX Arena is more than willing to accommodate it. Complete high-end PC streaming configurations are available for an hourly fee, providing streamers with a reliable and efficient platform to interact with their audience. If you are a streamer wishing to broadcast, it is recommended to plan because they work with booking.

The HyperX Esports Arena is already a known name

With tons of features and plenty of seating, the HyperX Esports Arena is now regarded as one of the biggest esports venues in the country. There are various significant gaming events held there.

For currently ongoing events, the current season of Spike Drop: Operation V.E.G.A.S. is live. The winning team for the regional Valorant circuit will receive a $10,000 cash prize. Other noteworthy occasions include a weekly Multiversus tourney and 1v1 Wednesdays for League of Legends.

The HyperX Esports Arena functioned as a sort of safe harbor for televised esports when travel restrictions set in for 2020. During the initial surge, the facility served as one of the few public gaming spaces still accessible.

Normal operations are anticipated for those in charge of running the HyperX Esports Arena. It might not host the most prominent esports competitions in the country, but its massive space and bevy of features make it an appealing option for organizers.

For those in the southwest United States, it serves as a center of activity. Weekly tournaments with bigger stakes are an opportunity to accumulate and establish your value. Casual gamers can always enjoy a trip to its massive arcade. Whether you’re an aspiring esports pro or just the average fan, there’s always something to enjoy at the HyperX Esports Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
