The latest trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me features some familiar faces and their brutal deaths.
The Halloween season is over, but Supermassive Games is still in full spirit. The developer is releasing trailers that work towards the release date in the month of November. The Devil in Me is the fourth and final installment of the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology series, and it’s a tough one to play alone.
The plot of The Devil in Me revolves around a group of documentary filmmakers who have been invited to visit a replica of .H. Holmes’ “Murder Castle.” What’s the worst that could happen? It’s great content, after all. But things will take a turn for the worst when the group realizes that they are in a creepy maze controlled by a disturbed villain known as Du’Met.
So far, the blood-curdling plot looks great, and Supermassive Games is finishing off the season strong with renowned voice actors and faces. The latest trailer allows a peak into the haunted castle and the potential deaths of the crew.
The Devil in Me follows five main protagonists, all part of the documentary crew. Here are all the main characters and their voice actors:
Jessie Buckley’s name stands out the most out of the entire crew. The Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley will be voicing Kate Wilder, who appears to die to a faceless creep carrying a scythe.
Each character in The Devil in Me has innate skills from their respective professions. These skills will help them navigate the haunted castle, complete tasks, gather evidence, and more.
The Devil in Me trailer is a claustrophobe’s nightmare, but it’s also filled with gore and mind-bending tricks that make it hard to look away. While the chilling trailer is centered around the deaths, it ends with five characters escaping a room. So, it’s unknown how the story would unfold.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me releases on November 18 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
