Team Vitality has finally unveiled new signings for 2022 after much anticipation. The ex-Astralis trio has officially joined Dan “apEX” Madesclaire in an impressive attempt to rebuild Vitality.

The blockbuster move of Astralis’ trio to Vitality has been confirmed in a climactic video announcement. The organization has completed its roster for 2022 by adding Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Reif, and coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen.

The announcement comes a few days after rumors of the trio moving to Vitality started swirling. A silhouette poster for the 2022 roster was teased last week in which players could easily recognize the Danish legends. To make space for the young superstars, Shox has moved to the inactive roster. The International lineup will now work with an extended roster.

CSGO fans excited to see Magisk and dupreeh on Vitality 2022 roster

The major-winning Astralis squad has split into multiple teams with this final move. While team Vitality managed to stay stalwart during the online format, it had lost its spark ever since Cédric “RpK” Guipouy was cut and Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom failed to have a lasting impact. The team was in dire need of firepower, and the duo brings just that.

Dupreeh enters the French organization with years of CSGO experience under his belt. The Danish pro player has four major trophies to show for his expertise and skill: ELEAGUE: Atlanta 2017, FACEIT London Major 2018, IEM Katowice 2019, and StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019. Coupled with his old partner dupreeh, the two become a force to be reckoned with. Both players have carried Astralis’ peak roster solely on their team play and game knowledge.

apEX, ZywOo, and Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier will welcome the trio to build an international roster. The Danish duo with a powerhouse like Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut will certainly help rebuild Team Vitality’s standing in CSGO. While the quintet seems perfect for the cut-throat CS competition that awaits, the question of the language barrier remains. All five players might find themselves struggling to communicate in English on the server. However, this problem should cease to exist if the team plans to stick for long.

  •  Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier
  •  Emil “Magisk” Reif
  •  Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
  •  Danny “zonic” Sørensen (coach)
