Team Secret goes on crazy winning streak after loss to Alliance
Team Secret is back to its winning ways. The team now records a 14-0 recent record after a dominating run at OGA Dota Pit 2020 Online Europe and CIS.
Team Secret has secured the grand finals spot at OGA Dota Pit 2020. But before that, the team claimed the championship title in the huge charity event Gamers Without Borders.
In OGA Dota Pit, fans expected Team Secret to top its group. The team delivered and came out of the group stage undefeated. The playoffs saw the classic dominating run from Team Secret. Once again, the team reached the grand finals without dropping a single game. This marked Team Secret’s 14th consecutive win in a row.
It’s no doubt that Team Secret is one of the top Dota 2 teams in the world today. They will always be a heavy fan favorite at any tournament. The team continues to dominate the competitive scene with the same squad it fielded at TI9:
- Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen
- Michał “Nisha” Jankowski
- Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg
- Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat
- Clement “Puppey” Ivanov
Alliance ended Team Secret’s last win streak at 17 games
Team Secret took home the title in the recently concluded Gamers Without Borders. However, the team did not end the tournament unscathed. The European powerhouse was pitted against Alliance in the semifinals of the charity event. Team Secret was holding on to its 17-0 win streak before the intriguing series.
Alliance knew that it is going up against a big name. Team Secret’s momentum was a threat for them, but Alliance was prepared for the onslaught.

During the second game, Team Secret quickly built momentum and gained the net worth advantage. Alliance was buying time for Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov’s Morphling to be fully online. Nikobaby did not fail his team, and his Morphling went on to carry Alliance to a huge win.
Team Secret still chalked up a win in the deciding map and moved on to the grand finals series, beginning a new winning streak in the process.
Team Secret found its rebuttal at OGA Dota Pit Online. This time, Secret did not let Alliance take a single game from them.
