Team Envy is the latest organization to join Valorant’s ever-expanding competitive scene.

The North American team has picked up the roster of the team that has been competing as “together we are terrific.” Together we are terrific is a mix of former professional and semi-professional Counter Strike: Global Offensive players, and was regarded by many as the best sponsorless team in North America.

Two of the biggest names on the roster include Pujan “FNS” Mehta, who played for a laundry list of top NA CSGO orgs including Cloud9 and Team SoloMid, and Jake “kaboose” McDonald who made a name for himself together with Selfless Gaming. Completing Envy’s roster are be Adam “aKis” Kisseberth, Anthony “mummAy” DiPaolo, and Abdo “c4Lypso” Agha.

We bring one of the world’s most legendary FPS legacies to @PlayVALORANT. We are Envy.

Together we are terrific managed to snag a couple of victories in smaller tournaments while playing together with Michael “dapr” Gulino, who was picked up by Sentinels in early June.

Since acquiring kaboose, the team has managed to rack up some solid placements in high-level tournaments. The team showed that it may be among North America’s best in the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown, where the team eliminated Cloud9 from the group stage. The team stumbled in the playoffs and was eliminated after losses to Team SoloMid and 100 Thieves.

Other notable results include second-place finishes at the Pittsburgh Knights Tournament Series and Nerd Street Gamers’ first monthly event.

Envy fans have been anxiously awaiting the team’s Valorant squad ever since the organization teased a Valorant-related announcement, which turned out to be a showmatch between the organization’s coaches and players from their CSGO and Overwatch squads.

While most other organizations have gone after more established players in games such as CSGO, Envy have picked up their roster based solely on their achievements in Valorant.

It remains to be seen how Envy will perform against the likes of other star-studded North American line-ups.
