The 2022 LEC season is right around the corner and for Team BDS that means the debut of the organization and its new team to the biggest league in Europe.

After buying the LEC franchise slot of FC Schalke 04 earlier this year, Team BDS has finally revealed its roster, which contains several familiar names. Meanwhile, Team BDS will also field two rookies in this upcoming split who will both step onto the big stage alongside the newest team in the league.

Team BDS’s full lineup for the start of the LEC 2022 season will be:

The two rookies will be Polish jungler Jakub “Cinkrof” Rokicki, who formerly succeeded with Karmine Corp in the French LFL. A former Karmine Corp teammate of his will also join Team BDS, as the team’s rookie bot laner will be Matthew “xMatty” Coombs. The 22-year-old bot laner has previously played for Fnatic Rising as well and now it’s finally time for him to get a shot in the LEC.

Supporting these young players will be the fairly experienced support Dino “LIMIT” Tot who was picked up from the fallen roster of Schalke 04. The Croatian support showcased great leadership with Schalke 04 last season and seems like a solid rock for the young Team BDS squad.

One of the main carries for the team will be another young player in mid laner Ilias “NUCLEARINT” Biziken. Despite his young age, NUCLEARINT already has some LEC experience after playing the summer split for Schalke 04. He and LIMIT already have synergy and could be a duo that the team will rely on.

Last, but definitely not least, will be former Fnatic and Karmine Corp top laner Adam “Adam” Maanane. The young French player got a big debut in the LEC for the 2021 LEC Summer Split. Fnatic made it all the way to the 2021 World Championship, meaning that Adam enters this season with more momentum and experience than most 19-year-old players.

Despite the team’s young age, it seems that Team BDS has been able to pick up a team based on young talent but with some experience to back it up. The team will definitely be a wild card in the LEC, who will be looking to ramp up and surprise throughout the season.

Who is Team BDS in League of Legends?

Team BDS is a multi-game esports organization that competed in the LFL before purchasing a franchise in the LEC. It acquired the spot of FC Shalke 04 after the football club put it up for sale due to relegation from the Bundesliga.

Alongside its LoL operations, Team BDS has teams in Rocket League, Valorant, and Rainbow Six. The organization will make its LEC debut when the next split kicks off on January 14.
