Spider-Man 2 has been getting a lot of hype but it wasn’t enough to overtake Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Over in the UK charts, Super Mario Bros. Wonder has come out on top of Spider-Man 2, taking its number one spot. While Spider-Man 2 was in number one last week, it’s now in the second spot behind Wonder.

Both games have lost a bit of momentum since they came out, but it looks like Spider-Man 2 was falling faster. Super Mario Wonder dropped 55% in sales between last week and this week, while Spider-Man 2 dropped 69%.

Despite Spider-Man 2 dropping down in sales, it remains in the top two spot. Wonder is, of course, in the top spot.

Underneath Super Mario Wonder and Spider-Man 2 is EA Sports FC 24, which is sitting at third place the last few weeks. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 debuted at the fourth spot. Here’s the full list for this week:

How many copies has Mario Wonder sold?

Since October 20 when Wonder was released, the game has sold an astonishing 638,634 copies in Japan. It has sold a lot more since this report.

Four days ago, it was reported that Super Mario Bros. Wonder has become the fastest-selling Mario game in Europe. It sold 18 million copies in under five days. It’s unclear how many copies have sold since then.

With the holidays coming up, fans are expecting that Wonder will sell even more physical copies.
