The award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4 are now taking roleplay to the deepest pits of space in Starfield, and players can’t wait to play it ahead of the official launch.

Bethesda brings good news for players, as it’s now possible to play Starfield before it officially launches on September 6, 2023, by paying a hefty penny.

After an unexpected delay, Starfield finally has a set release date. Being a one of a kind space RPG, it has already garnered a massive fan following who can’t wait to embark on a cosmic journey. So much so, Starfield became a top-selling paid game on Steam just 24 hours after pre-orders were announced.

Now, Bethesda has put the game up for pre-orders, but it may be out of the budget of many, at least for those who want to take a spin before the official release on September 6.

Starfield early access start date

Starfield early access can be claimed by buying the pricey Premium or Constellation Edition.

However, the access will be opened five days before release. If you’re lucky enough and don’t run into any bugs or network issues, you should be able to explore a tiny bit of space from September 1 to 6 in Starfield on PC and Xbox Series X and S.

Here are the Starfield pre-order packs that include early access.

The priciest one out of all comes with physical items, including a credit stick with laser-etched game code, steelbook display case, and Starfield chronomark watch & case. Whether these items are worth the exorbitant $300 tag is up to you, but those who are interested solely in gameplay could enjoy early access with a comparatively cheaper Premium build.

If you’re patient enough, you can get your hands on the game on the official launch date for $70 on September 6.
