Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been confirmed for 2023, and players will get a thorough look at the gameplay soon at The Game Awards.Â
The Game Awards nominations are packed with top titles that ruled the hearts of the player base in 2022. The competition is tough, but the awards aren’t all this year’s prestigious event has to offer. According to Respawn, the year’s highly-anticipated AAA game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, will appear at The Game Awards. The devs have also unveiled key art for the game, featuring Cal Kestis at the center.
The Game Awards, also known as the Oscars of gaming, is the appropriate platform to showcase a game of Star Wars Jedi’s caliber. So far, fans know a little about the storyline, but the gameplay remains hidden. But not for long.Â
Soon after a significant leak on stream that unveiled the game’s release date, Respawn announced a gameplay showcase for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. A detailed clip will be played at The Game Awards on December 8 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m.Â
EA and Respawn lifted the curtain on the game’s teaser back in May. The timeline is set five years after the events of its predecessor, “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.” The story follows Cal Kestis, the protagonist, who is the empire’s fugitive for being the last Jedi. Along with his BD-1, Cal is on the run for survival as walls close in on him. The short teaser didn’t give away much, but players may find more later in a few weeks.Â
This year’s game awards will be a fun watch for all as games like God of War: Ragnarok and Elder Ring are locking horns, with the latter being nominated into six categories. The Game Awards 2022 will be streamed on 40 different platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok Live. All streams are free to watch.
