Sova's Recon Bolt can attach to other agent skills, here's how

Valorant is indeed a team game.

Sova’s Recon Bolt is already useful but it works better when combined with other agents’ tools. Initiators and sentinels are the ultimate supports in Valorant, and they’re crucial to finding opening kills. Playing the attackers’ side can be a pain if you don’t have an intel-gatherer on your side, but this trick can help blast open sites.

Sova’s Recon Bolt is an overpowered ability that can crack opponents’ defenses when used correctly. His sharp arrow can expose the locations of enemies, making them vulnerable to fast pushes. Sova is primarily a team player, but a new tactic proves that his team-play goes deeper than that. It turns out Sova’s bolt can stick to his teammate’s abilities like Raze’s Boom Bot and Skye’s trinkets.

By attaching a bolt to Raze’s Boom Bot, Sova can easily display the exact location of enemies that the bot runs into. Sometimes enemies destroy the bot before it comes into contact but in that case, Sova’s bolt can expose their locations, allowing teammates to rush in. The benefits of the bolt-bot tactic go a long way as Raze’s skill only damages enemies it comes into contact with. With Sova’s bolt attached, it’ll display the location of everyone within the area, granting a massive advantage at the beginning of a round.

Shooting the bolt to a moving object may require some practice, but it’s worth practicing If it’s tough for you to stick a bolt onto a Boom Bot, it’ll be even more challenging for enemies to break it. They won’t expect a bot stuck with Raze’s ability, which will be enough of a surprise to get an advantage for a push.

This tactic proves that there are tons of ways Sova’s arrow can be used. Recon Bolt can stick to anything that has enough space to accommodate it. For example, Skye’s ultimate also has trinkets that travel and near-sights enemies. While it does the job of finding enemies and incapacitating them well, playing around with Sova’s Recon Bolt adds another wrinkle to the ability.

It’s ideal to try this tactic with friends as aiming shots and finding lineups may take some time. If your aim is accurate, you can benefit from this in solo queues when your teammates aren’t giving information about the enemy location. Just wait for Raze to deploy Boom Bot and shoot on your Recon Bolt for more intel.
