Sony to reveal Fortnite themed PS5 controller soon

Sony has just announced a new Fortnite themed PS5 controller, set to release in November, 2024. Revealed during the September State of Play event, this limited edition DualSense controller celebrates the ongoing collaboration between Sony and Epic Games. Priced at $84.99, the controller will be available for pre-order starting in October, 2024, allowing Fortnite fans to secure their purchase before the official release.

The new Fortnite themed PS5 DualSense controller stands out with its vibrant blue base, decorated with iconic Fortnite artwork. Firstly, on the right side of the controller, you’ll find Peely, the beloved banana character. Additionally, the left side features Fishstick, another fan favorite. Moreover, the playful doodles scattered across the controller add a unique touch. This playful design makes it a must-have for both Fortnite enthusiasts and PlayStation collectors alike.

How to get the Fortnite PS5 controller: release and pre-order details

According to the reveal during Sony State of Play, the Fortnite PS5 controller is set to release on November 7, 2024. If you’re eager to pre-order the controller, the pre-order date starts on October 3, 2024. The pre-order begins 10 AM local time in include the following regions: U.S, U.K, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal. Considering it’s a limited edition release, it is recommended to pre-order early to avoid missing out.
