Imagine being able to summon a massive ship mid-duel in Fortnite that doubles as a weapon. It’s now possible with the new Ship in a Bottle Mythic weapon in Fortnite.
Fortnite’s Pirate of the Caribbean event called Cursed Sails is finally here after getting accidentally leaked earlier in June. This time-limited event allows players to stack weapons and skins themed after the iconic movie franchise. To take things to the next level, players can even play as Captain Jack Sparrow by earning his skin in the premium track rewards of the Cursed Sails pass.
However, all eyes are on the rare Mythic weapon Ship in a Bottle, which is precisely what the name implies. This gimmick is based on magical items that appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth film.
You can find a Ship in a Bottle inside chests scattered in new Shipwreck Shallows point of interest (POI).
A new massive wreck called Shipwreck Shallows has spawned in Fortnite waters. This location has various pirate chests that you can open to find Ship in a Bottle. The easiest way to find this Mythic item is by cracking open a few treasure boxes and keeping going until you land a Ship in a Bottle weapon.
If you don’t want to go to the trouble of opening up boxes, simply find Jack Sparrow in the far East of the map, by the cliffs that follow South of Grand Glacier. Interact with the NPC to buy the rare Mythic for 200 Gold Bars.
However, Jack Sparrow is only equipped with one Mythic item per match, so you need to be quick and beat other players to it or beat them and pick up their loot if they purchase it before you can.
What is Ship in a Bottle in Fortnite?
Ship in a Bottle is a handy Mythic weapon that can help stomp all over enemies. When you activate this magical item, a giant boat spawns out of it and pushes you forward, roving over whatever comes in its way.
Ship in a Bottle deals 50 damage to players, 5000 to structures, and 150 to vehicles. You can ride it for a maximum of one minute and jump off whenever you wish. Please keep in mind that this Mythic weapon can only be used once. If you want additional ones, you’ll have to clear space in your inventory and locate multiple copies.
