Shawn Fonteno’s GTA RP server manager charged with human trafficking

A Twitch streamer known as Zavion Leon Jones has been arrested on charges of human trafficking. The 23-year-old, famously known as WaterHimself, was an active member of Shawn Fonteno’s GTA RP server. 

Shawn Fonteno, who voiced the character of Franklin Clinton in GTA 5, had Zavion Leon Jones as his FiveM server manager called “Franklin’s World.” Fonteno had launched his own server less than six months ago and had appointed Zavion as the manager, who often roleplayed as a child named JoJo. 

On January 22, Indiana State Police (ISP) detectives arrested Shawn Fonteno’s GTA RP server manager in an out-of-state human trafficking investigation. The search warrant was issued by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for charges including human trafficking when the victim is under 12, use of a minor under 16 in sexual performance, and four counts of procuring a minor by electronic means.

The jury has found enough cause to believe he committed the charges levied against him as a true bill was returned on March 15.

Zavion banned on Twitch after being charged with human trafficking

On February 1, Zavion’s Twitch account, which goes by his RP name, was banned. His X page has also been suspended. 

Franklin’s World RP server’s admins have also removed him from the whitelist, where he no longer has access to play. The admins or Shawn Fonteno haven’t yet commented on the matter. 

Now that the news is out, players are expressing disgust over role-playing as a child and asking Rockstar to take action. Others are calling out Franklin’s World server owners and admins for allowing him in the GTA RP community.  

It’s worth noting that Franklin’s World is a pretty crowded server with strict rules and regulations. To load into the game without a long process, you need to be on the server whitelist or deal with a never-ending queue.
