Rogue Warriors vs. Vici Gaming: NEST 2020 betting prediction
It’s finals time in NEST 2020, where 12 LPL teams have fought bravely the past weeks and tested a lot of young talent on Summoner’s Rift.
The two finalists are Rogue Warriors and Vici Gaming, who have both been performing well throughout the whole tournament. None of the two teams have lost a game in the playoffs yet, making them the perfect candidates for the finals.
Rogue Warriors entered the tournament with most of its LPL roster, unlike most other teams. Unsurprisingly, it paid off as the team started out by topping group A over Suning and Bilibili Gaming, with almost no sign of weakness. The great form continued in the playoffs stage, where Rogue Warriors took down LGD Gaming and defeated FunPlus Phoenix in the semifinals.
The story of Vici Gaming has been similar, as they are also fielding several familiar faces from the LPL. Bot laner Hu “iBoy” Xian-Zhao has done a very good job together with his support Fu “Hang” Ming-Hang. Vici managed to beat both Suning and Edward Gaming in the playoffs so far, securing themselves the last spot in the finals.
On paper, the matchup looks very close as both teams have been almost unbeatable throughout the tournament. Vici has lost a total of two games, while Rogue Warriors has only lost one, giving them a small edge on that front.
Looking at the rosters, both teams are once again close and know how to play off each other. Vici might have a slight edge when it comes to individual skills, but ultimately it will all come down to which team is better day-of.
Rogue Warriors a betting underdog against Vici Gaming in NEST 2020
A close final is likely waiting ahead, but Vici Gaming is the favorite according to the bookmakers. Their individual players are simply too strong, which gives them a deserved edge to take the trophy.
A win for Vici Gaming gives odds 1.52, while Rogue Warriors gives a bit more at odds 2.35. The game could very well go to all three games, so both teams will have to give it their all.
The NEST 2020 final between Vici Gaming and Rogue Warriors kicks off on November 22.
